About our school:
Palterton Primary School is a small school in a rural location, which welcomes children from the village and surrounding areas. We are very proud of our family feel and how well we get to know every child who comes to our school. We have 4 classes named after Derbyshire Halls; Renishaw class for our Reception children, Ilam class for our Year 1/ 2 children, Chatsworth class for our Year 3/ 4 children and Hardwick class for our Year 5/ 6 children.

Through our values, each of us in school considers how our actions enable us to achieve our potential and set ourselves future goals to aspire towards. Through understanding our school's values, every child in the school is supported to develop personally, socially and academically.
