The Carlton Academy
The Carlton Academy is a 'good school', confirmed by Ofsted in 2022, who said: “This school sits proudly at the heart of the community. Pupils are flourishing.”
The school has been a member of the Redhill Academy Trust since 2011. We believe that our Academy offers something very special for both staff and students and we encourage you to come and see us in action.
The Academy provides an exciting learning environment for its students where they will feel safe to take risks and be encouraged to excel in everything they do. Our aim is for them to do well in their exams and improve their life chances, whilst at the same time being inspired and excited by their teachers; and to enjoy their time in and out of the classroom through the many opportunities we offer all students.
In the last three years the Academy has made significant investments in its accommodation. This includes our new £3m classroom block with state of the art Drama Studio and Sixth Form Study Centre. We have also refurbished every Science laboratory along with our new Photography Studio, Food Technology and Textiles classrooms. In addition, our sports facilities have been transformed with a brand new floodlit 4G sports pitch and a new fitness suite.
We offer many formal opportunities for you to visit during the year, however, you are welcome to contact us at any time and arrange a visit.
