Sixth formers take-over NTU for day of 'Moving On' workshops
Sixth formers took over Nottingham Trent University for a day of important talks and workshops aimed at 'Moving On' - preparing them for life after school.
It was the largest gathering of sixth formers our trust has ever seen, with all of Year 13 in attendance from all 7 sixth form centres.
Moving On Day was hosted at NTU city campus and students could choose from a variety of sessions aimed at helping to guide them into adulthood healthily, safely and with the skills needed to succeed.
Sessions were run by a host of experts in their field including Notts Police, Leducate, Equifax, Sheffield Hallam University and Dr Rebecca Chellaswamy.

Andy Edwards, Trust Director of Post-16, said: "Moving On Day was the largest gathering of sixth form students we've ever had at Redhill Academy Trust. It was fantastic to get all our schools and students together in a university setting to explore the fantastic life opportunities that are ahead of them. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the day - it was brilliant to take them out of the classroom and into the lecture theatre! We would also like to thank all of our expert providers who put on informative and engaging sessions for our students.”
